Logo Refresh | Process

You like what you’ve got but think it could do with a bit of an upgrade or need some fine-tuning to your branding to make sure everything is consistent? Let us work with you on some refined improvements that will make all the difference.

 Here’s what you can expect from our refresh package.


The Process

Before we get started on refreshing your brand, a meeting will be scheduled to discuss your current assets, what’s working, what you’d prefer to remove and how much flexibility we have for some improvement. We will analyse your current branding and offer our professional advice on the best way to move forward. This is entirely tailored to you and your brand. There is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to a brand refresh. We will then give you honest and unique feedback on your brand and we won’t stop until we have achieved perfection.

01 | MOODBOARDS + LOGO

To start we will put together a moodboard so we can establish the new visual direction of your brand. This will be a mix of both design-focused and distinctive images. The moodboard will set the tone for your brand moving forward and will give you a good idea of the kind of art direction you can expect to receive as the project unfolds. We will include some key words, suggested colour palette and an overview for the direction for your branding going forward.

We will create 3-5 logo alterations for you to choose from. As this is a refresh, these options will utilise your existing brand elements to show how we can polish what you already have. These concepts will only feature slight variations to each other. For example we may thicken the font, adjust the kerning, all with a focus on improving what you currently have.

Once we present you these logos this package includes 1 round of minor tweaks. All logos will include some mockups so you can see the potential use of your future logo.

Once your logo has been finalised, we will send you all the logo files via Dropbox so you can start implementing them across all platforms!

02 | Style Guide

A style guide is a document that outlines the finer details of your branding and how to implement it with consistency across all of your marketing touch points.

Our style guides include guidelines on how to best use your logo (for both print and digital use), colour palettes, suggested logo usage, image direction and any other graphic rules that we may suggest for your brand.

These are super handy resources and really help to seamlessly implement your new logo and branding across all aspects of your business. If you have existing brand assets (fonts, colours etc) these will be included in the document.

01 | HOW LONG DOES THE PROCESS TAKE?

Refreshing your Logo will take between 2-4 weeks. Each week we check in you and you will receive our progress for feedback before we continue on for the next phase.

Alot! Our process is all about us collaborating.  We feel that working with our clients closely is an essential process to the success of your brand. We'll be in touch with you on a weekly basis whether that's through email or phone call (your choice) and also ask you for regular feedback to ensure you’re always pleased with the end result.


05 | WHAT DO I GET FROM THE LOGO REFRESH PACKAGE?

At the end of the process you will receive a new flashy logo (primary, secondary & supporting logos if applicable) and a colour palette.
